Ingredients
12 chicken breasts, skinned (6 whole)
2 cups sour cream
1/4 cup lemon juice
4 tsps. celery salt
4 tsps. Worcestershire sauce
4 tsps. salt
2 tsps. paprika
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 3/4 cups dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup shortening
Directions
Wash chicken and dry. In large bowl combine sour cream, and spices with lemon juice. Add chicken to mixture and let stand overnight. Next day, heat oven 350E. Remove chicken and roll in bread crumbs. Place in shallow baking dish. Melt butter and shortening. Spoon half of mixture over chicken. Bake 45 min., uncovered. Spoon remaining shortening over and cook 15 min. longer.
Note: I use boneless breast and get a lot more than 12 pieces. I use less salt and use less shortening, using it all at first, not adding any before the last 15 min. of cooking time.
