Ingredients
½ Red Jalapenos, Diced
⅛ Tsp Garlic, Crushed
1 Tsp Ginger, Shredded
1 Tbls Lemon Zest
2 Tsp Peanut Oil
½ Cups Water
1 Tsp Chicken Base
1 Tsp Cognac
1 Tbls Lemon Juice
1 Tsp Lemon Extract
2 Tbls Corn Starch
¾ Cups Corn Syrup
Yellow Color
White Pepper
Directions
- Dice jalapeño into 1/8" cubes, sauté with garlic, ginger, and lemon zest in peanut oil until jalapeños are soft.
- Mix water, chicken base, cognac, lemon juice, lemon extract, and corn starch. Add to sautéed mixture and simmer until thickened. Add Corn syrup and mix until dissolved. Add yellow color and white pepper to taste.
