Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup honey
2 eggs
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch salt
1/3 cup confectioners' sugar for decoration
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup dates, pitted and chopped
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter an8-inch square cake pan. Melt the butter over low heat and pour into a largemixing bowl. Add in the honey and eggs andbeat well. Mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the dates and nuts. Mix until well blended. Spread batter in pan and bake for 25 minutesor until light brown. Let cool for 5 to 10minutes. Cut into bars and roll in confectioners'sugar.
